COMMUNITY ENRICHMENT GRANTS

For small organizations, $1,000 can seem like a windfall. That's why the Foundation was honored to re-institute Community Enrichment Grants in 2021, with grants being made to community radio station KRYZ, the Mariposa Butterfly Festival, and the Mariposa Museum and History Center.

DISASTER ASSISTANCE

We have provided strong disaster relief and recovery funding to the area since 2008, when the Foundation was honored to serve as the fiduciary sponsor for the $50,000 Telegraph Fire Victims Relief Fund.

Similar efforts were followed for the 2017 Detwiler Fire and the Covid-19 National Disaster when we served on the Mariposa County Office of Emergency Services Unmet Needs Council, which has been reactivated for the Covid-19 National Disaster.

In 2020 the Foundation awarded $13,000 in COVID-19 disaster relief funding to nonprofit organizations in Mariposa.
