Along with a deep love of our community, our Board members and Executive Director bring broad perspectives and experience. This is a “working board” which supports the Foundation with donations of cash as well as time.
DAVID BUTLER
President
a native of Mariposa, is Executive Officer of Yosemite Mariposa Slate Quarry.
KEVIN CANN
Vice-President
Kevin is a retired Park Service Executive, a retired member of the Mariposa Board of Supervisors, and now sits as Vice President of the Golden State Natural Resources Corporation.
HEIDI ESTEP
Treasurer
Heidi has been a local business woman and longstanding volunteer in the county
KIM TUCKER
Secretary
Kim is a local volunteer with longstanding experience in Federal Government (Yosemite National Park.)
LESTER N. BRIDGES
Director
Personable and detail-oriented, Lester is an avid community volunteer and a retired local businessman.
RENÉ LA ROCHE
Director
René brings a long history of volunteerism in the community, as well as a background in business, law and regulatory compliance. She currently serves as the Executive Director of the California Association of Local Agency Formation Commissions.
CHUCK MOSHER
Director
Charles Mosher is a physician whose Board-certified specialty is Community Medicine, Public Health and Tropical Diseases. He is the author of scientific articles, textbook chapters, short stories and novels. He has lived in Mariposa County since 1977.
MARILYN SAUNDERS
Executive Director
Marilyn Saunders recently retired from the Board of Directors and now serves as volunteer Executive Director.
