OTHER PROJECTS

The Foundation currently serves as fiscal sponsor for the Mariposa Veterans Memorial Project - a group of citizens dedicated to the creation of a Veterans Memorial in Mariposa, California. Through their combined efforts, the memorial came to fruition in 2020.

Early in its history, the Foundation also provided services for the Mariposa Promise Fund (a fund to support teachers and students in the Mariposa public schools). The Promise Fund  would later come under the auspices of a larger, not-for-profit fund with the same beneficiaries. It then evolved into the Community Foothills Mediation Center, which operated until 2014.
